Isosurviainen

I logged my 200th obser­va­tion on #Inatu­ra­list last weekend! Not of a particu­larly fancy or rare species, not even of a new one for me, but that’s why I like Inat: it’s not a compe­ti­tion, and each tiny cont­ri­bu­tion adds a pixel to the big picture.

Consi­de­ring Ephe­mera vulgata is found, accor­ding to Wiki­pedia, ”throug­hout most of Europe”, I’m surprised this species of #mayfly does not seem to have a common name in English.
